Deadline has ended for the boys. It was extended from July 12 through July 13.
The FWJGA began accepting online entries on May 1.
Boys 14-18 will play 18 holes; boys 7-13 will play 9 holes of stroke play the first day to determine flights. Beginning the second day, boys will be flighted according to scores and single-elimination match play will be played at Sycamore and by the boys from Z Boaz. Boys must be from one of the cities or towns from the Eligibility list. Deadline for registering to be included in the pairings was July 5 for girls and July 12 for boys.
Girls may choose to play either 18 holes or 9 holes, however beginners should choose the 9-hole division. The FWJGA may decide to change a flight from 18 to 9 holes based on length of playing time. Girls from 7-18 are not limited to D-FW area.
Note: All golfers must either carry their bags or use a pull cart (not all courses have pull cart rentals). No caddies are allowed, and parents and/or friends are not allowed to offer advice during play. Please read the full rules. When entry is submitted, it means that the junior's parent(s) have consented to the junior participating and have released the sponsors and FWJGA of any and all liabilities resulting from any accident(s) or injuries that might occur while participating.
We accept walk-ons, but they are not guaranteed a tee time. Boys 13-young should arrive at Sycamore Golf Course by 7 a.m. and they will be inserted in the field when, and if, a registered boy fails to show up for his tee time. Boys who shoot 82 and above should be at Z Boaz Golf Course by 7 a.m. to be inserted when, and if, there is a no-show, and boys who shoot 81 and better should be at Meadowbrook G.C. by 7 a.m. Again, a walk-on is not guaranteed a tee time and might have to wait for a few hours before there is an opening.
