The girls championship is open for ages 7 to 18 who have not yet entered college. In 2005, the girls tournament was open to include all girls rather than only those from Tarrant County and surrounding towns. A participant cannot be or turn 19 at the time of the tournament. The boys championship, also for ages 7 to 18, is limited to residents of Tarrant County and a few surrounding towns. If part of a town/city is in Tarrant County, then juniors from that town/city are eligible. The list of Tarrant County towns and other eligible towns include: A participant cannot be or turn 19 at the time of the tournament.
